After being approached by a concerned resident and also receiving an email from another resident, I think this issue warrants more investigation as to who these young teenagers are and where they live.  The email below was sent to the crossakiel website regarding the article that was posted a couple of days ago about these anti-social teenagers firing bangers at the houses in the front of the Cairns Estate. anti social behaviour

We were boastful and proud of Crossakiel, rightly claiming that it was a safe, peaceful and crime free village, but in recent times that image has been shattered.

Initially what appeared to be childish pranks has now escalated into criminality. Youths, incomers to our peaceful village, that have legal protection under the law, proceed to cause anti-social behaviour in the village while their parents either seem to be oblivious to their behaviour or maybe they just do not care about them or their neighbours.

These youths, who cannot be identified by name, have turned their minds to vandalism, destroying what was once a much loved property, smashing cherished old vehicles, machinery and disturbing elderly residents.

Due to their age, immunity from prosecution is their passport, their trump card.

A reasonable question - Are parents liable? accountable for their children’s militant, malicious behaviour?

So, someone else who feels that suing the parents should be considered. Tulsa and social services was also mentioned which begs the questions, are these teenagers being neglected by their parents, hence why they are doing what they are doing?
